*tap*tap* Does this still work?
I've not posted on this for six years or so, and it may have disappeared. If not, yay! Now that I have a digital camera, I can post more photos of things I've made. So double-yay! Get ready!
Anything I want to say about quilting, complete with photos. When the mood strikes, you'll likely find things on cross stitch, crocheting and needlepoint, as well as whining that apparently I'm genetically incapable of learning to knit.

Here's what I do in traffic jams - crochet:
These are, of course, baby afghans, with little hats. Love 'em.
I can't do this
This miniature quilt was made by Linda Cantrell, an amazing quilter who does mainly applique. You can see (although not clearly) that the one I'm holding is a small version of the one lying on the stage behind me. Linda said she made the big one, wanted to see how a slightly different color scheme would work, so she made the smaller one to see - and there are precisely as many pieces in the small quilt as in the large, both of which she designed. I can't even think about it. But I do admire it, a lot.
That silver green thing
I started working on this for a friend a few years ago, and then she redecorated. Oops. I still want to finish it, but I'm not sure how to use it. The quilting is done with silver metallic thread, and is fairly closely done, so I don't know that I want to make it a pillow. Possibly framing, but then you can't see the stitches as well...
I love the green water-wash fabric here; I've used it in several small pieces.
